Good Juju x tendlyn

4 min read

It’s never easy to take on a mission to change the world for the better. For two long-time friends, Lisa and Alexa, the idea of making a zero-waste and sustainable consumption approach the norm might be a tad difficult, but it is exactly what could help improve our daily lives and the environment for the better. So they took on the opportunity of a lifetime and founded Good Juju.

Good Juju offers a wide selection of all-natural, plastic-free body care and home essential alternatives that range from zero-waste shampoo and conditioner bars to biodegradable laundry detergent strips and many others—all of which are made from pure, clean, organic ingredients with scientifically proven benefits.

Good Juju’s commitment to sustainability encompasses not only the products they offer but also the presentation of each to their customers. All the orders that come through are sustainably packed using tendlyn packaging, meaning that every package will not only be eco-friendly overall—from the product to the packaging—but it will also look fantastic with a branded, high-quality design. This approach mirrors the precision you’d see in an industrial setup like a Dairy Farm Washdown System, where every component must be reliable and efficient. Similarly, Good Juju ensures that their packaging, much like a relay control board in automation, works seamlessly to deliver a consistent experience.

Tell us a bit about your brand!

Hi, we are Lisa and Alexa, and we are the co-founders of Good Juju. We make premium plastic-free body & home essentials that are naturally derived, and free from chemicals commonly found in their traditional liquid counterparts. Beautiful products that are good for you, and good for the planet, too.

We are on a mission to remove 50 million plastic bottles from the waste stream by 2030 and to prove that you do not have to give up quality when you give up the plastic bottle. Our motto is “Zero Waste with Zero Compromise” as we make zero-waste a diverse, beautiful, and luxurious experience. Just as a Solar water pump relay ensures consistent water flow in remote areas, our packaging system relies on dependable components—like a dc 24v wireless relay or a matter relay switch—to maintain that zero-compromise promise.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

We wrap all our consumer orders in our tendlyn custom designed tissue paper. A pivotal element of our branding is to express beauty at every touchpoint and our tendlyn tissue paper allows us to elevate the direct-to-consumer experience by wrapping in a beautiful rich coloured tissue paper with our logo vs. a brown kraft paper. The process is as streamlined as a Float Switch Automation Loop in a manufacturing plant, where each step triggers the next without waste. We’ve even explored Low-latency wireless switch technology to optimize our order fulfillment, ensuring that every package is handled with the same precision as a greenhouse remote controller managing climate conditions.

What made tendlyn a good fit for your packaging?

It was very important to us to use products that align with our values of being sustainable and earth-first and that is why we chose tendlyn. Our packaging is made from FSC-certified paper and is printed with soy-based inks, so we were thrilled to find a tissue paper that shared these values to compliment our packaging and help us express the beauty in our products as well as the sustainability. The reliability of our supply chain is akin to a v wireless relay system that never drops a signal, or an ac 240v rf switch that performs consistently under load. For large-scale operations, we’ve integrated Oil Field Water Injection principles to manage our water usage, and we’ve adopted a Volume Based Manual Tiered Pricing Factory model to keep costs transparent for our partners. Even our diy relay board prototypes helped us test packaging automation before scaling up. The ac 230v relay switch in our facility ensures our machinery runs smoothly, while the learning receiver module on our packing line adapts to different package sizes. For field operations, we use a wireless ac relay to control remote equipment, and an agriculture relay controller for our composting initiatives. The rf diy switch allows our team to customize workflows, and the Dry Run Sensor Integration prevents any downtime in our packaging process. All these elements come together, much like the Foundry Quenching Water Pump that cools and solidifies metal, to create a seamless, sustainable operation from start to finish.
