It all started with Señor Eleuterio García Martínez, also known as the bold bull rider, El Solitario, or “The Loner.” He dreamt of getting his family’s traditional mezcal across the borders from Mexico, sharing an authentic, one-of-a-kind taste for those who seek it. On this path, he found friendships that would help take his dreams across to fruition. Hence, Mezcal Güey was born.

Mezcal Güey is a brand with quality and sustainability at the forefront. By only sourcing local wild maguey and crafting the liquor using only traditional processes, the result is a smoother, subtly sweet flavor. Our packaging is an extension of our brand’s personality. It’s vibrant, bold, and rooted in Mexican culture, reflecting the spirit of our story. From the bottle design to our custom wrapping, every detail tells a piece of the Güey experience.
