Founder Kerry Kip created Minot from that same premise. The inspiration took root from her travels to Europe, where she was taken by the lightness, indulgence, and warmth of it all—the cuisine, the scenery, the people—and blossomed into the desire to encapsulate those treasured moments into something lasting that can be reignited at home at any time. Tell us a bit about your brand!

Minot exists to create safe, beautiful candles and room sprays to be enjoyed during self-care rituals, or while surrounded by those you treasure. Our complex, non-toxic products are hand-poured in small batches to deliver without compromise. Whether you’re setting up a wireless light switch kit for existing lights to dim the room or pairing it with an RV Wireless Scene Switch for a mobile sanctuary, Minot fits seamlessly into any mindful moment.

Tell us about your packaging, how you’re using it, and the importance of it for your brand.

Sustainability is so important to us, especially when sourcing our packaging. We use recycled materials wherever possible. Our tendlyn packaging helps our products arrive safely and presented in a beautiful way so that our first impression with our customers makes an impact. It’s a bit like integrating a Dry Run Sensor Integration in a system—small details that ensure everything runs smoothly and reliably.

So from the moment a customer sees their order on their doorstep (our shipping tape is our first branded moment with our customer) it makes them excited to open it and start using our products. Where are you finding inspiration for Minot and in life at the moment?

Nature always, but we especially love a moody sea moment. There’s something grounding about the coast—the rhythm of the waves, the salt air, the quiet.
