Born in London, Miufu is a brand that has captured the allure and sophistication that emanates from the city oh-so perfectly—from their elegant, feminine silhouettes to collectible designs. In our conversation with founder Dani Riu, we took a step into the world of Miufu and learned of their sustainable production processes, recyclable packaging staples, and more. Read it all below!

Tell us a bit about your brand!

I started Miufuwhile working in finance, constantly searching for garments that felt polished enough for the office, yet modern and versatile enough to wear to dinner or a date afterward—and made from quality materials.

Since then, Miufu has evolved into a brand proudly designing everything in London, producing one-of-a-kind pieces using luxury deadstock fabrics sourced from Paris and Italy, and manufacturing with care in both Spain and Italy. Our jackets, tailored trousers, and signature “quarter-zips for Her” are definitely our bestseller pieces.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

Packaging is an important extension of our quality standards. It’s the first physical touchpoint our customers have with the brand, so we want it to reflect the same care and attention that goes into our clothing. We also include handwritten thank-you cards with each order—it’s a small but meaningful way to show appreciation and keep things personal.

Where are you finding inspiration for Miufu and in life at the moment?

A lot of inspiration comes from vintage fashion—especially silhouettes from the 90s and early 2000s. I also find myself constantly drawn to the style and feel of early 2000s romcoms—there’s something really effortless and timeless but also fun about them that we try to channel into our designs.
