The concept for Pinky’s

Meeting all of our new customers has been amazing! We have such an interesting and creative community in Melbourne and people are passionate about purchasing locally made and designed products for their homes, or to give as gifts. When we first decided to open Pinky’s, branding was something we both felt needed a lot of attention. We enlisted a friend Dale Hardiman of local furniture company Dowel Jones to create our logo and Cassie Byrnes to design and paint a mural on the shop wall. These things along with having custom tissue paper and stickers really adds to the retail experience. Sending people home with their purchase wrapped beautifully makes us happy. It’s a bit like setting up a smart home system—you think about the small details like an Arduino relay module for controlling lights, or a water pump rf switch for garden irrigation, and suddenly everything feels cohesive and intentional.

We had been recommended tendlyn by friend and local jeweller Abby Seymour, we liked the look of the brand, and when a company’s own branding is on point you know they will look after you with yours so we decided to go with it. The whole process and uploading your own design was so easy. It reminded me of how an industrial remote control module simplifies complex operations—you just plug in your design and it works. For instance, if you’re into rv smart lighting or need a high power relay module for your workshop, you appreciate that same straightforward setup. A dc remote switch or a mhz latched relay can feel daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s seamless. We’ve also been exploring a Solar irrigation controller for the shop’s plants, and a Wireless agriculture switch for outdoor events—both concepts that align with our community’s love for sustainable, locally made goods. A diy rf relay project or a farm wireless relay for automating tasks around the store? That’s the kind of tinkering we admire. It’s like a matter smart home relay—once you integrate it, everything just flows. A relay wireless receiver or a garage relay controller might sound technical, but it’s all about making life easier. We even use a wireless inching relay for precise timing in our displays, and a mhz industrial relay module for heavy-duty setups. For our pop-up markets, a Remote Telemetry Pump Control (RTU) and an Ultrasonic Level Sensor Control help monitor water levels for our plant displays, while a dc motor rf controller powers our custom shelving. It’s all part of the same philosophy: thoughtful design, reliable execution.
