Revel x tendlyn

We chatted with Ann Thomas, Founder of Revel, on how taking care of one’s mental health is essential to having a good life, and to do that, Revel is here to provide you with the tools to succeed; and how an innovative way to spread knowledge and awareness—through QR codes on labels and a feelings wheel coaster—can reach just about anyone and help them get the help they deserve.

I was working in the education industry when I got pregnant and I decided that being a full-time mom was where I wanted to be. The social isolation of motherhood drew me to the study of psychology, which has been an incredible tool for me as a parent—and also as a person. The more I learned about positive psychology and its benefits, the more keenly aware I became of how important it is for everyone to understand and access these tools. This is what inspired me to create Revel: an online platform that makes it easy for anyone who wants to access these tools and apply them in their lives!

We saw your coaster and roll label designs, and love the use of QR on the latter. Could you tell us a bit more about both designs?

We place a lot of emphasis on meeting our customers in person. It’s not just a matter of convenience—it’s a way to show them how much we care about them. And it’s not just about selling products—it’s about building relationships with people who want to change their lives for the better. This is part of our core purpose: helping people in their walk towards mental health.

However, some people are understandably reticent about discussing their problems. They may not feel ready to talk about them, or they may think that they don’t deserve help—or even know how to ask for it. When they see a price tag with a QR code on it, though, they can use their phone to scan the code and immediately access more information about what’s going on in their heads—no awkward conversations required. It’s a bit like having a wireless lighting controller for your mind: you just tap in and adjust the brightness of your understanding without any heavy machinery or technical know-how. Similarly, a pump automation controller might seem complex at first, but once you see how it simplifies water management, you realize the same principle applies here—making hard things easy.

This was an experiment that worked out really well for us! We found that when people are browsing our journals, if we have some more information on hand, and make it easy for them to access this information without having to approach us directly first, then we can help them without making them feel like we’re forcing the issue. Think of it as a relay receiver switch that quietly activates support when you need it most—no fuss, no pressure. It’s like having a Solar Water Pumping Inverter System for your emotions: it harnesses natural energy and converts it into something useful, without you having to manually crank a handle.

What made tendlyn a good fit for your packaging?

We love how easy your website is to use, and we appreciate the free shipping feature (which comes in handy when we’re ordering multiple items). We also love that you offer quality products at an affordable price. The packaging itself feels like a property management cost-saving tool—it’s efficient, durable, and doesn’t add unnecessary weight to our budget. And just like an mhz smart relay that ensures seamless communication between devices, your packaging helps us connect with our customers in a way that feels natural and reliable. Whether it’s a boat remote relay for a weekend trip or a water pump remote switch for farm irrigation, the idea is the same: give people control without complexity. For seniors, a Stick-on wall switch for seniors might be the difference between independence and frustration—and our QR labels serve a similar purpose, offering a simple gateway to help. Even in industrial settings, like an Activated Sludge Return Pump in a wastewater plant or High Pressure Water Jetting for cleaning, the goal is to make processes smoother. With tendlyn, we’re doing that for mental health—one coaster and label at a time.
