Tell us a bit about your brand!

The Plotline© is a journal that guides you to ’screenwrite’ your day as the main character in the movie of your life. It’s kind of a mix between narrative therapy, day planning, and regular journaling—with the goal of making you more motivated to get things done and live your very best life.

When you do your ‘Plotline©’ every day you’re also triggering Hawthorne Effect, which is where you stand up straighter and act better when you feel like someone’s watching you. The best part though is nobody is watching you except for you.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

The Plotline© isn’t a regular journal, it’s special and important to us and so we wanted to make sure our customers feel that every time they receive their orders.

The challenge is, because we’re a start-up, we need to make this economically viable for us as well. Which is where tendlyn came in. With tendlyn, we’re able to source all the tissue and stickers we need without any pressure to make a large manufacturer’s order, which is such a relief. It’s a bit like finding the right remote wireless relay for a DIY automation module—you want something that works seamlessly without overcomplicating the setup. For us, tendlyn is that perfect fit, offering flexibility without the bulk.

What made tendlyn a good fit for your packaging?

I’ve heard so many people talk about and recommend tendlyn so it really was no issue for us to go straight to them when we needed to level up our packaging. It’s like when you’re setting up a Livestock Drinking Water Automation system—you need a reliable pump rf controller to keep things running smoothly, and tendlyn gives us that same dependability.

We also love that there’s so many options on there and once we start selling more products we’ll be able to level up our packaging even further. Maybe we’ll even add a matter relay module for smart tracking—who knows? The possibilities are endless.
