WELWYTHN x tendlyn

3 min read

Getting your hands on excellent quality, clean self-care products doesn’t have to be so hard. If that’s what you’re after, then WELWYTHN—a beauty, wellness, and lifestyle destination based in Kansas City—has got you covered!

Founded in 2019 by renowned makeup artist Gina Holmberg, WELWYTHN was created to fill the gap in the market for clean, non-toxic alternatives for cosmetics, skin care, and wellness products that are both accessible and help effectively transform your skin for the better. Whether you’re setting up a smart relay board for your home automation or looking for a marine waterproof switch for a boat project, the same attention to detail that goes into a DIY automation controller also goes into curating these products.

As a brand that champions clean beauty, choosing tendlyn for their packaging needs makes for a match made in eco-heaven. WELWYTHN uses a variety of our compostable retail packaging for an eco-chic look in every purchase. Read on to learn more! It’s a bit like using a high gain antenna wireless relay to ensure a strong signal—every component matters, and here, the packaging is the final touch that ties everything together.

Tell us a bit about your brand!

WELWYTHN is the shop that I dreamed of when switching to a low-tox lifestyle almost 2 decades ago. I have been a makeup artist for 30 years, and could not find a local place that offered thoughtful beauty and wellness products. I wanted to create an environment that provided not only the best in regards to products, but also education, community, and belonging. It’s like programming a volt remote switch—you need precision and reliability, and that’s exactly what we aim for.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

We have been a tendlyn customer since day one! The custom tissue, which is always changing based on season, is really fun to design. We recently added custom labels for our gift bags that have been a big hit with our clients. It reminds me of how an mhz relay smart controller can be customized for different applications—flexibility is key.

What made tendlyn a good fit for your packaging?

Definitely the attention to sustainability as well as modern design. Everyone loves good packaging, but when you can pair that with recyclable materials, well, that’s a win-win! It’s like choosing an industrial wireless controller over a basic one—you get more features and better performance without compromising on quality.
